The Handicapped Pupils (Certificate) (Amendment) Regulations 1975

Made      -      6th March 1975

Laid before Parliament      -      14th March 1975

Coming into operation      -      5th April 1975



The Secretary of State for Education and Science and the Secretary of State for Wales, in joint exercise or the powers conferred by section 34(5) of the Education Act 1944(a) and vested in them (b), hereby make the following regulations:-

1 Citation and commencement

These regulations may be cited as the Handicapped Pupils (Certificate) (Amendment) Regulations 1975 and shall come into operation on 5th April 1975.

2 Amendment of regulations

The form of the certificate set out in the schedule to the Handicapped Pupils (Certificate) Regulations 1961(c) shall have effect with the substitution for paragraph 2 and the footnote of the following -

2. I have examined this child and I certify that in my opinion -

*the child is not suffering from any disability of mind or body

*the child is suffering from a disability of mind/body of the following nature and extent:-

*Delete whichever is inappropriate.
